Berlin Film Festival

Tom Brook and the team are in Berlin to look at highlights from the 2026 Berlin International Film Festival - one of Europe's most important film events. Tom talks to the festival's director Tricia Tuttle and explores some of the festival's standout films.

Tom also looks back at some of Germany's rich cinematic history, from the legendary Babelsberg Studios and classics such as Metropolis, The Blue Angel and The Cabinet of Dr Caligari to Good Bye Lenin! - a film that captured the emotional aftermath of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
