Episode One
As a bill allowing extradition to China sparks anger in Hong Kong, four young protesters take drastic action when they realise how far the authorities will go to silence them.
In 2019 the Hong Kong government proposes a law allowing suspects to be extradited to China. The bill sparks a wave of anger across the city as people fear Hong Kong’s autonomy from mainland China is under threat.
Using groundbreaking artificial intelligence to protect the identities of the protesters, this film tells the story of four young Hongkongers who join mass protests across the city, but feel increasingly disillusioned by the government’s response. They soon find themselves drawn into a cycle of violence that threatens to tear the city apart.
