The Royal Academy in London returns with its Summer Exhibition moved to the autumn for a second year, Kirsty Wark and Brenda Emmanus go behind the scenes to find out which aspiring artists will make it on to the walls. The 2021 edition is the vision of the curator, celebrated British-Nigerian artist Yinka Shonibare, whose bold ambition to reclaim magic permeates every choice in this monumental show. In this second episode, we hear from architect Sir David Adjaye and artist Angela de la Cruz as they prepare new work for this year's exhibition, and find out the fates of our shortlisted artists all vying for a place on the walls.
