Di family tok say di army visit dia residence and allegedly shoot Samad for im head wia e die instantly, inside im room wia e dey sleep.
Videos and fotos wey dem show BBC News Pidgin claiming to be di aftermath of di army visit, show scattered areas for di room and di door and walls wey bullet holes dey.
On Sunday, di tok-tok pesin to di Headquarters Guards Brigade for Abuja, Olawuyi Odunola tok say dem receive distress call about robbery attack early mor-mor on Saturday, 25 April for Shagari Estate, Dei-Dei, Abuja.
Di army tok say dem respond quick-quick to di distress call and upon dia arrival for di area di troops begin exchange gunfire wit di armed robbers as dem dey run away.
Di army tok say Samad die in di "crossfire" and despite di effort of di army e "succumb to di injuries".
"In di course of di engagement, Mr. Jamiu fall for di crossfire. Despite efforts by troops to secure di area and preserve lives, e sadly succumb to di injuries. Dis na heartbreaking loss wey don cast deep shadow ova all personnel of di Guards Brigade."

Jamiu family demand justices as sister narrate dia ordeal
Fareedah Jamiu, sister to di deceased wey follow BBC News Pidgin tok, say na "pure lies" and her broda no die during any robbery "crossfire" for dia neighbourhood rather na "men in uniform" kill her broda wia e dey sleep inside im room.
She tok say she di incident bin happun around 2:00 am on Saturday, wen she bin dey sleep for her room upstairs, bifor she hear gunshots and quickly go lock di door.
Fareedah say as she reach downstairs na "uniform men" she see for dia apartment and den she ask dem about her broda.
She tok say wen she no see am, na so she enta im room wia she see im bodi lifeless and begin "scream" out of shock.
"I dey sleep upstairs and im room dey downstairs, wen I hear gunshots. I wake up and quickly lock di door.
"I go im room to go stay wit am, den I kon see some men for uniform. I come kneel down begin beg dem, make dem no harm me," she tok.
"So, dem ask me who I be, I tell dem say I be di resident of dis house. I tell dem say if I come down make dem no shoot. As I come down, I begin smell gunshots and I ask wia my broda?"
She add: "Di gunshots wey I hear na my broda dem kill for inside im room, I begin scream ova im death. Den, one of di sojas say why I dey shout, make I no wake di neighbours."
She tok say afta di incident, di military officers call di police and vigilantes for dia area.
She tok say dem hand ova her broda lifeless bodi to di police and den ask di vigilante make dem clean di blood wey don spread for floor.
To corroborate wetin Fareedah tok, Jamiu family issue on statement on Monday, wia dem dey demand for justices ova di death Samad.
Di family claim say di statement from di Nigeria Army on Sunday say Samad die during "crossfire" na lie.
Jamiu family tok say Samad die through firearm exchange from close range wey pass through di "door of Abdulsamad room", di bullet strike Samad Jamiu for "head, e kill am instantly."
Di family demand say make di army conduct full investigation witout any interference of di Nigeria Army.
Jamiu family tok say dem want immediate identification and suspension of di officers wey dey involved for di death of Samad.
