With the summer holidays approaching and the end of the school year on its way, for those of you in your final year of primary school that can mean lots of exciting things to look forward to.
Maybe your school is having a big end-of-year party, a special assembly or even making leavers' hoodies to celebrate.
Or perhaps you are going on a big trip or residential stay for a few days with your school?

What is a residential trip?
Some residential trips include outdoor activities that you might not have tried before, like canoeing
A residential is like an extra long school trip where you stay overnight - usually at an activity centre or accommodation where large school groups can stay.
It is an opportunity for children to spend a few nights away from home, take part in fun and challenging activities and develop new skills.
Activities often take place outdoors and can include things like rock climbing, canoeing and hiking.
For some children this could be the first time they've ever been away from home on a school trip, and can mean they feel a bit nervous or excited.
It is normal to feel a bit worried ahead of a big trip - chatting with a teacher, parent or trusted grown-up about how you're feeling might help to put your mind at ease.
