Wales elections

Plaid Cymru's leader Rhun ap Iorwerth is happy
In Wales, people over the age of 16 voted to choose the 96 politicians who will work in the Welsh national parliament, called the Senedd, which has control over public services such as health and education.
The results are complete and Plaid Cymru is now the largest party in the Senedd.
Their party leader, Rhun ap Iorwerth, said that Wales has demanded a "change of leadership" and that his party is "ready to serve".
It is a big change. Previously Labour had been the largest party in elections in Wales for 100 years, but now, after becoming the first leader of a government in the UK to lose their seat while in office First Minster Eluned Morgan has announced she is "stepping down as leader of Welsh Labour".
She says she takes responsibility for the result in Wales, and that being first minister has been the "privilege of my life" as well as being the first woman to lead the nation.
Reform UK came second behind Plaid, and have made big gains compared to previous years.
Scotland elections

John Swinney's SNP is doing well
In Scotland, people aged over 16 have voted for the 129 Members of the Scottish Parliament (or MSPs) that they want to represent their area in the Scottish Parliament.
The Scottish Government's powers include running the education system, the NHS, housing and the environment.
So far the BBC is predicting that the Scottish National Party (SNP) will win an historic fifth election, but fall short of an overall majority.
This means they may have to find agreements with other parties so that they have enough support in Parliament to make their plans happen.
SNP leader John Swinney said: "I'm delighted that we're looking at such an optimistic situation as the election results emerge."
Local elections in England

Reform leader Nigel Farage is celebrating his party gaining hundreds of seats in England
In England, people over the age of 18 have been voting in local and mayoral elections in some parts of the country.
For this election 136 local councils, and six mayoral positions in London, are being decided.
These local authorities are in charge of lots of the services that people use every day like public transport, bin collections, schools, libraries and leisure centres.
So far there have been big changes with Labour - the party currently in power in the UK, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer - losing council seats, and whole councils to Reform UK, a party led by Nigel Farage.
Nigel Farage said he believes a "truly historic shift in British politics" has occurred, after his party have won more than 1,000 seats so far.
Sir Keir Starmer said earlier he is "hurt" but is "not going to walk away" after the Labour Party has lost hundreds of seats.
The Green Party have made gains in England's local council elections, and in London have won Hackney and Lewisham mayoral votes.
The Liberal Democrats have made some gains so far; their party leader Ed Davey said voters are "looking for a party that is true to British values of decency, tolerance, respect of the rule of law, and real practical plans. And only the Liberal Democrats offer those."
The Conservative party have also lost hundreds of seats, but made gains in other areas.
