It isn't just the Olympics where records are being broken.

A Scottish woman has broken a world record for shearing sheep.

That's when the animal's woolly fleece is clipped off, a bit like the sheep getting a haircut.

The 51-year-old skilfully managed to de-fleece 517 sheep in just nine hours at a farm in Cornwall and she even live-streamed the whole thing.

Una Cameron has been shearing sheep since a young age and has been building up to attempt to break the world record.

Her attempt has required a lot of intensive training and support.

She would wake up at 5am to work on cardio, weight-training and mobility exercises before going out to shear sheep for eight hours.

An expert described the task as 'the equivalent of running two marathons back to back'.

Cameron felt the pain the next morning saying she felt "like I’ve been run over by a tank … I am sore. My body hurts in places I didn’t know I had.”

Cameron eventually broke the previous record by 59 sheep.

Each one that she sheared had to be judged by four world record judges to ensure it had been properly clipped.

Only four failed to meet the standard.
