Who is UK chart topper Sienna Spiro?

A record-breaking moment happened for singer-songwriter Sienna Spiro on Friday.

The 20-year-old became the youngest British female artist to get a number one song in the UK in more than 10 years, according to the Official Charts.

Sienna hit number one with her song Great Expectation.

She first broke into the charts in 2025, after her song Die On This Hill became a viral hit on platforms like TikTok.

The singer-songwriter has been writing her own music for years, and posting videos online since she was 16 years old.

She found viral fame on TikTok with a number of her songs and she performed at Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday concert.

Sienna now has over five million followers on the platform, and her music also featured in the movie The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Over the weekend she posted a video holding her Official Charts UK Number One trophy, miming along to the lyrics of her hit single Great Expectation.

The UK's Official Chart has tracked the most listened to songs of the moment for over 70 years.

And Sienna's Great Expectation has just knocked American singer Ella Langley's single Choosin' Texas from the number one spot.
