Border broadband experiment

It may not be silicon valley but the County Armagh village of Middletown can now claim to have some of the fastest internet speeds in Ireland and Britain.

A remarkable fact is that the village is miles from the nearest telephone exchange and does not rely on a satellite link.

Our Consumer Correspondent Martin Cassidy has been finding out how the Assembly-funded experiment works.
