Scene of Banbridge fire

Families escape fire

Twenty five people were forced to flee their homes in the middle of the night when an oil tank fire spread along a row of terraced houses in Banbridge.

Among them was an elderly man who had to be carried to safety.

The police say they are treating the incident as suspicious and two men have been arrested.

Conor Macauley sent this report from the scene.
