Young people with learning disabilities in their new accommodation

A new home at last

It has been two years since a BBC Newsline investigation at Muckamore Abbey Hospital uncovered the scandal of dozens of young people with learning disabilities being held indefinitely in locked wards because their discharge had been delayed.

Linda Colligan's son Ryan is one of the new residents. She describes the difference it has made to their lives.
