Holyland disturbances

Holyland update

For years people living in the densely populated student quarter of Belfast have complained about anti-social behaviour.

Last month, riot police were called and several people were arrested during disturbances in the Holyland area which followed students' St Patrick's Day celebrations.

Now, the Employment and Learning Minister, Reg Empey, has told local residents that he will do what he can to improve their living conditions.
