BBC Exhibition

Journalists from past and present gathered at the BBC in Belfast today for the opening of a special exhibition charting the history of news gathering here.

The Chronicle highlights many of the issues that have shaped the way the BBC has produced reports over the years.

The exhibition is accompanied by a booklet and a website which includes film recordings and archive photographs.

Cecil Taylor was the corporation's first television journalist here.

Mark Byford is the Deputy Director General of the BBC.

Peter Johnston is the Controller of BBC Northern Ireland
