Over one million pounds a day is being spent on the care of diabetes sufferers here in Northern Ireland.

That's according to research by Diabetes UK who have launched a new campaign to raise awareness of the condition and its potentially devastating consequences.

David Maxwell interviewed diabetes sufferer Colin Holmes about his condition and how he has coped with having both legs amputated below the knee.
