‘I’ll never stop writing music because I’m such a blabbermouth’ - Debbie Harry
Blondie was formed in New York City by singer Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein, and was the most commercially successful band to emerge from the new wave punk scene of the late '70s.
Ms Harry went from the pages of Punk magazine to being on the cover of every mainstream publication on the newsstands. With a career spanning 36 years and a legacy of standards such as ‘Atomic’, ‘Rapture’, ‘Heart of Glass’ and ‘Maria’, Blondie are still going strong with sellout tours across the globe and a new album ‘Panic of Girls’ released this year. A perfect choice for a T Sunday.
