Deltasonic is a record label based in Liverpool and was formed in 2000 by Alan Wills, the former drummer with Liverpool bands Shack and Top. In the years since, it has become home to some of Liverpool's best-known exports. Dave Monks, presenter of Radio Merseyside’s Sunday night rock show The Pool spoke to Deltasonic artist Candie Payne about her music and the charity event: On 16 December you have charity party with everyone except The Zutons appearing?Candie Payne: Yes, they’ll be finishing their tour and they’ll be exhausted but I’m sure they’ll be there to show their support. It’s for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and tickets are £20. There’s no guest list whatsoever. We all have to buy our tickets! It looks like it’s going to be an amazing night. We’ve never all played together before. So it’s going to be fantastic. Deltasonic Christmas Charity Gig, December 16 2006 at Liverpool’s Carling Academy. |
