Second Tuesday

'Second Tuesday' is a new original music showcase for the best local singer/songwriters. The event takes place (wait for it..) every second Tuesday at The Pilgrim which is on Pilgrim Street in Liverpool. Starts April 11th.

Local singer/songwriter Alun Parry will host 'Second Tuesday' - a much needed showcase for the talents of those creating quality new music on Merseyside. This is NOT an open mike night. All acts are booked in advance to ensure a top quality evening. The event will happen on the second Tuesday of every month at The Pilgrim, Liverpool.

The lineup for April 11th is as follows:

"The first bands I was into as a really small child were The Who and The Beatles. But I've always been influenced by musicians who seek to tell a story"

Inspired by the likes of Woody Guthrie, Lonnie Donegan and Billy Bragg, Al's first gig was busking in Liverpool's Bold Street just three weeks after learning guitar. He went on to be named Merseyside Busker of the Year.
