Film 1: Adam [Grays]

Adam Frost is eight years old and lives in the heart of the Essex Thames Gateway.

His town of Grays in Thurrock is due to experience some big changes as the whole area is redeveloped with thousands of new homes and jobs.

George Craggs

Film 2: George [St. Mary's Island]

14-year-old George lives in the Chatham Historic Dockyards. He loves St. Mary's Island because it's safe and attractive but that's a world away from Chatham High Street which he thinks is a dangerous place to be. But he's not without hope...

Film 3: Andrei [Gillingham]

18 year old Andrei Allen lives in Hemstead Valley in Gillingham. He has been living in Kent for seven years after his family relocated from Wolverhampton. He's doing his A- Levels at college and wants to do into IT and become a developer after university. Right now though his passion and past time is promoting hip-hop, urban and street music.

He thinks more needs to be done to the existing areas of the Medway - including Rochester, Gillingham and Chatham - before new areas are built as those areas will just fall more and more into disrepute.

Film 4: Josh, Jasmine, Joe and Ashleigh [Rochester]

These kids [ranging from 12-14 years old] live in Troy Town - an estate in Rochester East. They've all lived there for at least five years and this is their story of how life is on the estate.

They say there is nothing to do, the only place they have is a pub which gets turned into a youth club on Thursday nights. There is development happening in the area - old Rochester police station, which is very near them is being turned into housing. But their estate is not being cleaned up and no community facilities are being built...
