Care in the UK

The Radio 4 programmes, You and Yours and Woman's Hour have begun an investigation in to the state of Care in the UK. With Britain's elderly population set to triple by 2047, discover who receives care and who pays for it.

The month-long season about social care will be broadcast on the Radio 4 and will look closely at the care system in the UK.

On Wednesday 16th January, Radio Humberside's Lara King spoke to Martin Knapp from the London School of Economics about the BBC Care Calculator. The Care Calculator is an interactive toolkit to help you work out how much care might cost you in future.
