The UK’s top cycling event comes to the region this weekend.
The National championship is being hosted by Beverley for the first time starting with a town centre race tonight.
Tomorrow Nicole Cooke is the favourite to win the women's championship, and three of England's Commonwealth Gold Medal team will be chasing the men's title across the Yorkshire Wolds on Sunday.
Another star in action will be Mark Cavendish who surprised everybody in Melbourne by winning gold for the Isle of Man in the sprint at the velodrome, the island's first medal since 1966.
Roads across the East Riding will be closed over the weekend to accommodate the event.
