I still live near the streets where I grew up, though I moved to St Johns Wood in the early sixties with my lovely first husband, Arthur Jones. We had a baby, Elaine and lived happily in love until he died in 1962 aged only 30.
I married another wonderful man Leslie Arthur Griffiths in 1967 and we had a great life together until he died in 2001.
Now by joining some clubs down near Church St, I have met so many women in who lived through the same times as me, in the same area. It is good to be able to share so many memories.
