Hello

I hope that those of you that have read my account have found it interesting. I was just an ordinary young woman in a very extrodinary world, and living as everyone else was, in diffficult times.

I am now 81 and have lived in Spain for nearly 20 years now. I became a teacher after the war and stayed a teacher/headteacher all my life.

My first husband Vic died some 16 years ago here in Spain and my late husband John 6 years ago.

I live with my daughter and her soon to be husband and recently one of my sons has come to live with us too. My Eldest son still lives in the UK but visits often. I have many grandchildren and even great grandchildren too.

If there is any one there that still remembers me my maiden name was Turner and I was a clerk then a driver in the WAAF, lastly with 77sqdn in elvington. please get in touch it would be lovely if not remarkable to make some sort of contact.
