I am currently researching people’s experiences of VE Day in the East Midlands and would love to hear from anyone with an interesting story to tell. Were you a child, a nurse, a soldier/airman/seaman or did you organise a street party? What was the atmosphere like? Did you have any unusual experiences? It would be great to hear your stories.
