Summer of Salsa dancers

Practise your Salsa dance routine

Learn the Summer of Salsa dance steps, one-by-one and the full routine, by watching video clips...

BBC Hereford & Worcester is working towards an attempt at breaking the World Guinness Record for the number of people dancing salsa, simultaneously.

We want to enlist the help of at least 2,000 people - both men and women, of all ages - to join us at Sixways, the Worcester Warriors rugby ground, on Sunday 19 July 2009.

The aim is to perform a salsa dance routine all together, and smash the current record.

Dance workshops

To help you to learn the simple dance steps, here are videos showing each individual step, and also the full routine of the steps put together:

Here's the salsa dance music track that we will be using on the day, for you to practise along to:

Have fun practising, and you're very welcome to show us how you're getting on at one of our dance workshops that are taking place in the lead up to the big dance record attempt.

Tune in to BBC Hereford & Worcester or contact Mandi Harris to find out when the dance workshops are taking place.
