I am a History student at the University of Southampton and am really looking forward to discovering Hampshire from a non student perspective. My current knowledge is limited to bus routes and I have high hopes about exploring the county. Student DJDuring the semester I am a student radio DJ on the local student station Surge! I am part of comedy trio who present a Friday lunchtime show called the Munch Bunch. Fingers crossed we will win a nomination for the Student Radio Awards this coming November. | | Feeder the Singles favourite album |
My music taste can best be described as eclectic, I generally like most genres including Folk, Pop, Rock, Indy, Grunge , Rap, Drum and Bass. I saw Pendulum and the Cut Up Boys at my Halls Ball about a month ago and they were fantastic! I have tickets to see Boy kill Boy in November, but I would really love to see Feeder in concert. Adrenaline HighAs well as being a student DJ, I have also raced for Southampton University. That is ski slalom racing on various dry slopes around the UK. I am not brilliant at it, but I enjoy the speed and the thrill that you get from going really fast on two pieces of plastic only 20 cm wide. Skiing is one of the few sports I am good at. I am also a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver, and I will be diving in the Red Sea for a week when I finish this placement. I love to sing tunelessly, and to dance erratically. I did stage school when I was younger, and performed at the Royal Albert Hall. However what little talent I had, has been lost since I have got older. Film Buff | | Scared of Jurassic Park |
I love films, although I don't like horror movies. Why would I voluntarily pay to be scared out of my mind ? I can't sit through Jurassic Park so I imagine that during a scary movie like the ring or silence of the lambs I would die. My favourite films include Legally Blonde, Erin Brockovitch and The Dead Poets Society. My favourite TVs shows are Doctor Who, CSI, Law and Order, and Friends. Big Brother, Love Island and Pop Idol are all waste's of TV time. I really can't stand them, and don't see anything interesting in watching a group of freaks yelling at each other. |
