But what do the residents of the area think?  Fixing bright strips to the window One set of tower blocks in South Essex is about to get a little more than your average makeover. The four towers of the Queensway estate are about to become a massive art installation that will be visible from miles around. Artist Milika Muritu is installing multi-coloured plastic sheets up the side of the buildings to create streams of light shooting in to the sky. The Queensway Streams are due to be finished by the end of March, and BBC reporter Andy Gordon went to meet Milika and Queensway resident Mike Chapman to find out how things are going, and what the residents think.
