After training at the Colchester School of Art, Charles Debenham embarked on a career of designing and creating all manner of artworks for a variety of companies.

He has designed floats for the Lord Mayor's Show, exhibitions at St Paul's Cathedral and the International Fair in Cairo. He was also commissioned by the Merchant Navy to create its float for the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

He has exhibited on a number of occasions at the The Royal Academy, The South West of England Academy, The Mall Galleries and the Minories in Colchester. He is also no stranger to the Chappel Galleries, having been exhibited there in both 1996 and 2000.

His work will be at the Chappel Galleries from Saturday the 9th to Sunday 31st of December.
