The Royal Cornwall Show was blessed with three days of hot sunshine in June 2005. Thousands of locals and holiday makers enjoyed the various stands, animal competitions and fun fair rides. The BBC Radio Cornwall Show Theatre was once again the place to be for the best local and national entertainment. Youngsters from The Five Star Academy, Fiona Richardson Dancers, and girlband Siren showed off their amazing dancing and singing skils. Local entertainers Aaron Kane, Mad Dolphins Fly, and Peter Rees performed many different types of music including rock and roll, accoustic, and songs from the shows.  | | Nicki French sang live at the showground |
Nicki French, the UK's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 sang her hits to an enthusiastic crowd. And then of course there was the excitement of the Junior and Senior Singing Sensations finals on the Saturday. Even The BBC Radio Cornwall staff had to face the might of the judges in our very own Eurovision Song Contest - Cornish style.
