This is Jody and this is my take on what happened in the DG this week.

What hard decisions have you made?

My DG replies: Dramatic Dove: Dear Jody, That was very brave of you. You let Tyler find his happiness in St Lucia while you find yours. It must be hard to let someone go, you've grown up with Tyler for years. I was heartbroken when Tyler left. A hard decision that I made was going to my friends party or stay in and watch a movie with my Mum on her birthday. I let my mum have peace and quiet so I went to the party. PS You are my favourite and my inspiration YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Jody: Thanks, Dramatic Dove. I don\u2019t feel brave right now but maybe I will soon. I really hope he\u2019s happy there \u2013 it\u2019s what he always wanted. I didn\u2019t want to mess that up for him and I don\u2019t think it was the right decision for me. I\u2019m still unsure of what it is that I want in life. I need to figure that out first, then, who knows? Your decision sounds tricky \u2013 at least they were two lovely things to pick from. Hope you had fun at the party.
My DG replies: the next step fan: Dear Jody, I think everyone\u2019s in tears! Jyler gone forever, however it was brave of you to do that, I don\u2019t think if I had a relationship that perfect I probably would never be as strong as you. A tough decision I had to make was trying to make out which school to pick. There were so many great options, but next year I will be going to secondary, and I have chosen the right school... I think... Jody: Hi the next step fan. I feel like everyone who has known me and Tyler from the beginning is bound to be upset \u2013 everyone wanted us to be forever, me most of all. I hope that Jyler isn\u2019t gone actual forever, but I guess only time will tell. I don\u2019t feel strong right now, just upset. Hopefully that will get better soon. I\u2019m sure you\u2019ve made the right decision. It\u2019s bound to be weird and scary at first, but it will get better.
My DG replies: Safah: One hard decision I made was when I either had to move to Pakistan as my brother was having a wedding or to stay here in England. I chose to stay here! Jody: Hi Safah. That sounds like a really tough choice; it always is when it involves family. Thinking things through in the heat of the moment is really difficult, but you have to go with what\u2019s right for you and your own future.
My DG replies: Pinkpanther: Dear Jody, It's always hard to let go of someone you truly love, and it is also hard making a decision that will change your life. Sometimes you just have to listen to your heart, and think what is right for you. When I chose which school to go to, it was so hard because I didn't want to leave my friends, but I knew the school they went to wasn't right for me! And now, I don't regret the decision and made lots of new friends (but am still in contact with my old ones too!), and I think you made the right choice to stay at the DG as well! Pinky x Jody: Hi pinkpanther, thanks for your message. You\u2019re right about listening to your heart. I was worrying so much about what to do, but there was this voice in my head telling me that going to Saint Lucia was all wrong wrong wrong. I\u2019m sure there\u2019ll be times when I\u2019ll regret my choice, (like when it\u2019s pouring with rain here!), but overall I hope it was the right one. I\u2019m glad you\u2019ve made lots of new friends \u2013 that\u2019s really important. Having a great mate to make you laugh, or turn to when you need them, is the best.
My DG replies: MintSmilingBadger: Hi Jody. I can't remember a time where I had a hard decision. But make sure you keep in touch with Tyler. To be honest, when I saw you two separate, I nearly cried for you. I know you'll meet again.\uD83D\uDE01 By the way, did you get your suitcase back. I thought it would already be on the plane. Jody: I will stay in touch with Tyler, MintSmilingBadger There\u2019s plenty of ways for us to keep each other updated about our lives. He\u2019ll find it tougher to play pranks on me from over there I bet, but I wouldn\u2019t put anything past him - haha! I did get my suitcase back thanks \u263A
My DG replies: Jessica: I had to make a really hard decision to leave all my friends I had known for 8 years to go a great high school it was hard but it got better Jody: Sounds like a difficult one, Jessica. I bet it was terrifying doing that, but it was the right decision for you. Tyler is my best friend and I am going to miss him so much, but I realised that wasn\u2019t a reason to stay with him. I had to follow my own path.
My DG replies: GlassOwlFeather: Dear Jodie, Losing someone you love is always hard. I lost my teacher who was very kind to me, my nan's neighbour who was practically a grandmother and my pet, Sammy. But that's besides the point. Some desisions I have made have been hard, such as which high school to go to, I still don't know! Or what job I want to do. It must be hard to lose Tyler and more importantly, Jyler. We will all miss your cute banter and romance. All the on and offs. And tourmenting Gina! You are the reason I took up boxing. Well I'm nearly out of space so goodbye and goodluck. Love Abixxx Jody: Hi Abi / GlassOwlFeather. I\u2019m sorry to hear you\u2019ve lost some of those closest to you, it must be really hard. I will miss the banter too, like loads. I\u2019m made up that I helped inspire you to take up boxing though, that\u2019s ace. Things like what job you want to do and stuff, I think those decisions can wait a bit. There\u2019s already so much to decide on! I don\u2019t think we really need to know until later, and even then we can change our minds. Just look at Mike! He just decided being near family was more important than a job and he\u2019s REALLY old. So there\u2019s plenty of time for us \u263A
