Frank "Knuckles" Lacey is an original Teddy boy from the mid 50's. Frankie remains a devout Ted and now even manages the Comets, the legendary band that backed Bill Haley on "Rock Around the Clock."
Rosie Shine is an original Teddy girl, one of the very first in fact. She lived in the Notting Hill area in the 50s and was captured by the film director Ken Russell in a series of photographs depicting the young Teds of the time. She has worked in a primary school in west London for many years. Ted Burton is one of Rosie's cousins, and one of the boys in the photographs by Ken Russell.
