Red Bull reflect on another year of glory

Red Bull won both the drivers' and constructors' championships for the second successive year in 2011. Here, design chief Adrian Newey and team principal Christian Horner talk to me about their plans for 2012 and praise the dedication, hunger and desire of Sebastian Vettel, who became the youngest ever double world champion.

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel has headed off for his summer holidays with a healthy championship lead but the world champion is still being criticised because he has only won once in four races.

Nine wannabe winners

That was another fabulous race in Hungary, with the top three teams fighting for the win but in every Formula 1 race there are 12 teams and 24 drivers.

I've been taking a look at how some of the smaller teams like Force India and Sauber are faring at the mid-way point of the 2011 season, as well as picking the nine drivers who have impressed me most so far.

Murray Walker's British GP preview

So now we come to the big one - the British GP at Silverstone. We have the absolutely fabulous new Silverstone wing - 40 garages, superb facilities and everything you could possibly want under one roof. In my opinion, although Silverstone doesn't have the lushness of some venues on the calendar, in terms of the combination of the circuit and the facilities, it is the best of all.

Watch my preview of this weekend's action and see my assessment of the chances of anyone beating Red Bull.

The thrilling 2011 Formula 1 season raced on from Istanbul to Valencia with four more victories for Red Bull's supreme world champion Sebastian Vettel and an inspiring drive from last-to-first for McLaren's Jenson Button. But Lewis Hamilton finds himself in "dispirited" mood and Ferrari are fighting hard but are still without their first win of the season.

My preview of the next few grands prix

There is so much to look forward to over the next few races. First there is the Turkish Grand Prix, on a track very popular with the drivers. After that it's on to the true start of the European season in Spain. Then the incomparable Monaco Grand Prix and unique Canada, which always seems to produce a fantastic race, before I am back on this blog after the European Grand Prix in Valencia, which to be brutally honest has a track that does not live up to what is a great city.

I'm sure we're in for some fascinating action. In the meantime, I hope you will enjoy my preview of the next five races.
