This October we are hosting a special showcase at The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) with PRS Foundation at Chicago Social Club on Thursday 19th October. We sifted through countless tracks uploaded by extremely talented electronic artists with Radio 1’s Monki and Danny Howard curating the final line-up.

Danny and Monki will also be hosting the showcase plus BBC Music Introducing DJ, Marcellus Wallace will be playing a set.

Bhavesh Patel, Programme Manager at PRS Foundation says: “We’re excited to be bringing our BBC Music Introducing and PRS Foundation showcase to ADE festival for the first time. We know how important international showcasing is to artists’ career development, and so we’re delighted to be supporting these four brilliant artist to have this opportunity to showcase in Amsterdam.”

JAMES ORVIS (supported by BBC Music Introducing in West Yorkshire)

James is a musician from Leeds whose glitchy house and techno sounds are inspired by Philosophy, Science & Spirituality. With mind-blowing live sets and having previously played at Berlin’s Berghain club, James is already proving himself to be a huge breakthrough act in electronic music.

RACHEL K COLLIER (supported by BBC Music Introducing in Wales)

Rachel K Collier is a writer, producer and vocalist who blends her passion for house and percussive sounds with pop to make music that is utterly unique. The Welsh star is making waves on YouTube with her impressive live performances and we can’t wait to see her play.

KVASIR (supported by BBC Music Introducing in Scotland)

Influenced by 80s and 90s dance music, KVASIR brings dancefloors to life with his euphoric techno-pop style. Earlier this year BBC Scotland's Vic Galloway named the mysterious masked figure as a new artist to watch for 2017. We’re excited for what he will bring to ADE.

PROSPA (supported by BBC Music Introducing in London)

Prospa at our Creamfields stage

Prospa are a force to be reckoned with. This year their ‘Machines’ EP charted at #2 on Beatport, and in August they brought their hypnotic and progressive sounds to the Introducing stage at Creamfields. They will bringing a deeper element to their performance at ADE, with a live set up using a guitar and Roland SPD midi keyboards.

The showcase will take place on Thursday 19th October at Amsterdam's Chicago Social Club with the live performances starting from 4.30pm. ADE festival takes place from 18–22 October 2017 and you can find out more details here.

BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems figure-head Danny Howard is hitting the road, and he’s taking six Introducing DJ’s with him.

Danny Howard's Off The Beaten Track tour is all about bringing the party to smaller clubs around the UK, and this autumn he will be heading to Guildford, Wolverhampton, Exeter, Haverfordwest, Loughborough, as well as Aberdeen and Perth in Scotland.

This year BBC Music Introducing has been championing electronic music with Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Monki and Danny Howard, who picked six DJ’s and producers to play our first ever Introducing festival stage dedicated to dance music at Creamfields this summer. They will also be picking four more acts for the Introducing showcase at the Amsterdam Dance Event next month.

Joining Danny on tour are: Like Son, Luke Hassan, Lisa Sharred, RanouvaGrooves, Lewis John, Model, K V A S I R and George Marshman.

Hiya - Monki from BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra (Sunday night into Monday morning 1-4am) here.

After the success of finding Introducing DJs to warm up for me on my recent tour, BBC Music Introducing has announced its first dedicated electronic music stage at this year's Creamfields 2017.

BBC Music Introducing has nurtured the careers of some of the world biggest artists including James Bay, Florence + the Machine, Jack Garratt, Jake Bugg and Slaves, all of whom have graced festival stages around the world over the last 10 years. 

Now Introducing wants to support the unsigned, under-the-radar and undiscovered electronic artists, and will be hosting a stage at one of the world biggest dance festivals, Creamfields, which takes place in Daresbury across the August Bank Holiday weekend.

The stage will feature DJs and live acts that have been selected through the regional BBC Music Introducing shows around the country, and will be curated by a couple of Radio 1 DJs.

If you, like the DJs who performed with me on my tour, play House, Techno, Disco or anything on the 4/4 spectrum and you want to be on stage and DJ at the world famous Creamfields, then this one is for you…

All you need to do is send us a mix (or sample of a mix) that showcases what you’re all about, along with any of your own productions (if you make music) to the BBC Uploader here.

IMPORTANT: Submission requirements

  • name the uploaded track as 'Mix for Creamfields’: so the team and I can find your mix
  • file size limit is 25MB: please compress your mix or send a sample
  • MP3 
  • include links on your BBC Introducing Uploader profile: Soundcloud, Mixcloud etc
