We've already discovered and played music by Glasgow jazz-fusioneers dBass, bassist Nick Haward's quartet and guitarist David Cooper Orton, and we're looking forward to having our ears opened to lots more great new talent via the uploader.

We're proud to have supported bands like Acoustic Ladyland, Polar Bear, Alex Hawkins' Sextet, Phronesis and Kit Downes, whose album has been shortlisted for the Mercury Prize this year, from their early days.


Jazz On 3 is a broad church: we play everything from free jazz to fusion and post-bop to skronk, as long as it's good. So if this sounds like you and you want to get heard, please submit your demos, homemade recordings or album tracks. Along with Jez and the rest of the production team, I'll be listening with interest and considering the stuff we like for airplay on the show.
