A ridiculous morning of running around London watching film previews and interviewing two of the most famous people on the planet.
I ended up at a small studio in West London chatting to Tom Cruise and Will.I.Am from The Black Eyed Peas. Ridiculous. Tom (best buds) had a new film coming out called Knight and Day and Will (best buds also) has done the soundtrack.
We chatted about Tom's appearance on stage at the BEP's gig in London last night, the fact that he might join the band and I even managed to play a quick edition of my rubbish gameshow, The Square, with him. It was a game of 'Taller or Smaller' - which in hindsight, may have been in slightly bad taste.

I was then whisked off to my show (30 mins late - ooops) on this little beauty:
I've changed.

OK, I feel a bit more normal today. Feel totally washed out - what an amazing weekend though.
Here are a few photos from my phone over the weekend. Think you'll like 'em.
Firstly, Dominic Byrne - who never fails to make me laugh:

Not a bad place to live for a week:

Some woman called Rihanna before she went on stage:

This is a strange one...A girl in the hotel with toilet paper hanging from her skirt:

"I'm on a mother...boat!"

Watch the Bangor vids This weekend, I managed to get a couple of days off and go to Southern Germany to the Nurburgring 24 hour race. It was an amazing spectacle. I didn't really know what to expect, so a few of us got in a lovely campervan and drove down there on Thursday morning.
When we got there, it was incredible. 250,000 people stay on campsites around the track itself and we were shown to our bit which was literally next to the action. It's like Glastonbury - with cars and no bands. As a result, very little sleep was had and I am absolutely dead.
Amazing weekend spent with my boys though - proper road trip, beers, campfires, dodgy German clubs, and definitely not a night in a casino. Gambling is wrong, kids. All set around a stunning backdrop of one of the most famous circuits in the world. Night time racing of performance cars in pitch black is simply out of this world.
Just a little bit of beer...

Early evening BBQ at the side of the track. Perfect. Germans love a bit sausage:
People bring their living rooms!
All these people to see a race. Incredible:

More from me over the weekend as I embark on a roadtrip with a few mates to Germany!
Back on Monday Live from a cottage in Bangor with Chris Moyles and the team! Good luck everyone..
Hello there! Hope you are well and your weekend was alright. I had a busy old one - went to Bath to watch the rugby with my dad. Bit of father and son bonding. He loved it, and was swearing like a goodun - passionate.
We were well looked after by the lovely people at Bath Rugby Club, my dad has been a fan of the team since he was a little boy and he passed that love on to me. They got me to do announce some of the birthdays of the crowd at half time and draw the raffle. I even appeared in the match-day programme:

Proudest moment of my dad's life. Well...it's up there.
Then, it was on to the Cardiff Student Media Awards which I was hosting, strangely, in Cardiff. Instead of sending my dad home, I thought it would be nice to take him along too. Turned out to be a great idea. He went down a storm, people chatting to him for ages, someone even interviewed him for their student radio show. Ridiculous. It went to his head.
Met some lovely people and caught someone out in the toilet talking about me when he didn't realise I was in there. I overheard: "Oi, that Greg James is massive isn't he?" I'm assured that he was referring to my height.
I managed to blag my way into watch the legendary music show 'Later...with Jools Holland'.
Couldn't believe my luck as Mumford and Sons were on, and you know I've got a little thing for those boys to say the least. I absolutely loved watching the show go out live last night and many people may have spotted me standing around looking awkward behind Ozzy Osbourne and Iggy Pop (ask your parents. I did)
Here:

Now then. A couple of people on Twitter noticed that I was indeed wearing a denim jacket and therefore achieving the 'double demin' look.
The TV world is very cut throat and fickle and the shirt I decided to wear was deemed too 'distracting' by the production staff. Luckily, the bloke next to me lent me his jacket so I could stand there and watch the show. Good guy.
There you go then. Standing behind two music legends...wearing double denim. Just another normal night then.

It's a very impressive show to watch go out live. Totally frantic but brilliantly seemless. An institution.
This is wonderful:
