Jacqui Joseph's draught excluders

On Friday, Jacqui Joseph joined us in the studio to show us how to make draught excluders using old clothes you might find lying around the house!
All you need is an old pair of trousers, a long-sleeve t-shirt or a long-sleeve jumper. A pair of tights would also work, anything that will form a long tube.
The next step is to cut it at each end, and turn it inside out.
You can also slit it all the way up the leg/arm to straighten out your draught excluder, and reattach it using hot glue, sticky-back hook and loop fasteners, stitching or staples.
After it's sealed on three sides, it's time to stuff! Jacqui recommends odd socks, old newspaper, spare scraps of fabric, the stuffing from old cushions, whatever you can find!
To seal the end, just run a line of glue on the outside edge of your open end, fold it back in on itself and press it shut.
After that it's time to decorate! Cut some fun shapes out of felt, add some jewels, pom-poms can look very nice, whatever your imagination and your craft cupboard can come up with!
It's a fun half-term activity for kids and grandchildren, it'll shave a little bit off your energy bills, and it's a great repository for pesky odd socks! Don't forget to send your photos to morninglive@bbc.co.uk
