Completing the panel is Kashif Ali, Managing Director of Birmingham’s own Glenvale Media. 16:45-17:30 | Meet the Commissioners: Securing the Breakthrough Commission Hear directly from the gatekeepers of Entertainment, Drama, and Comedy as they demystify the commissioning process in an increasingly digital-first landscape. Joining us are Jamie Dodds (Digital Commissioner, Entertainment - BBC), Claire Hookaway (Commissioning Executive, Drama – UKTV), and Charlie Hyland (Digital Commissioner, Comedy – Channel 4). Together, they will share what major broadcasters and global platforms are actually looking for in a pitch today and how regional indies can move from a "good idea" to a "breakthrough opportunity."
